Releasing my fine art photography from years gone by feels like opening a time capsule, these magic memories, past and present with others, evoking emotions and stories.

My journey began in a more traditional era, working as a Graphic Reproductionist at Fairfax Media before the advent of Adobe. 

During this time, I was responsible for processing graphic reproductions through both electrical and mechanical methods for print purposes. Using Hell and Crossfield drum scanners and later Scitex scanners which were sophisticated devices used in the pre-digital era of graphic reproduction and printing to achieve high-quality image scans.  Every task was performed by skilled craftsmen who understood the intricate details of ink, paper, and the critical role of prepress in creating high-quality printed pieces.

This experience provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the transition from manual to digital processes, particularly with the advent of transformative technologies like Adobe. During my tenure at Fairfax Media, I witnessed significant industry disruptions.

Outside of my professional commitments at that time, I dedicated weekends to photographing weddings. Starting with a Pentax K1000 (film) and later transitioning to the Nikon F4.  

My choice of gear today is Sony Alpha A7r 3 and A7R5, Sony Alpha and Sigma Fine Art Lenses, NISI Filter system, SIRUI Tripods.
